JOB DESCRIPTION
Lifeguards and Waterslide Attendants will be assisgned to work at any one of the park's water rides and pools. All candidates must complete Wet'n'Wild Toronto's training program(s) prior to starting work.
Must be 16 years or older to apply.
Available to work weekends, holidays and flexible hours as required by the park operating schedule.
Must be able to clearly communicate with Guests with regards to safety instructions.
Must be able to hear and understand ride noices, signals, ride codes, and Guests' concerns/distresses unassisted and or without devices.
Attention to detail.
Must have 20/25 or 20/25 corrected vision in both eyes.
Current Lifesaving Society Pool Qualifications as needed for Lifeguard, Assistant Lifeguard or Waterslide Attendant.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Lifeguard Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Valid National Lifeguard certification certificate
Must complete and pass in-house training prior to the opening season
Valid Standard First Aid Certificate
Valid CPR Basic Rescuer Level C (or equivalent) certificate
Certifications in AED, supplemental O2 delivery, or airway management are an asset
Assistant Lifeguard
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must complete and pass in-house training prior to the opening season
Valid Bronze Cross certificate or above
Valid Standard First Aid Certificate
Valid CPR Basic Rescuer Level C (or equivalent) certificate
Certifications in AED, supplemental O2 delivery, or airway management are an asset
